RVB trans

I talked to John cope for awhile before ordering my RMVB. He said shifting into 2nd for passing is fine. But he recommended not downshifting into low until the car was stopped or nearly stopped.

Or at least when you come flying into a 90 degree corner and want to fly out of it.:D

I would be scared of the back tires locking up! I accidentally down shifted into 1st at 25-30 MPH awhile back. My M/T ET street R's locked up and squealed like crazy before I got it shifted back into 2nd! I'm sure that a "rev match" would help greatly, but screw that.

I leave the corners and stuff to my Viper. The dart isn't very assuring.

In my opinion, too many people use a manual valve body because they don't know how to figure out their kickdown linkage.

I have Nitto Neo Gen 245/40's on the back and know exactly what you mean about hook.
If they are spinning and hook, you better be pointed in the direction you want to go, because that is where you are going.:D
The "First at any speed" option in the TF2 kit was something I questioned at first, but the ratchet shifter makes it pretty much impossible to accidentally put it in first.
Then the A500 first gear is super low, so I can only drop it in manual first if I'm under 40 or I'm instantly at 6k.
Rev matching definitely helps it not be so violent though, that's for sure.
