I'm stuck in Redding CA with a bad Lean Burn control unit. Desperetely seeking a replacement or a electronic ignition distributor and pigtail. Thanks

Ha! I sent him a msg last week about a truck distributor. As I’m stuck in a hotel in Redding, I’m even considering a points distributor.

I'm pretty sure, if your lean burn distributor is good, you can bypass the lean burn computer, like if you were convertering to HEI or Chrysler EI. Your distributor does not have centrifical or vacuum advance, but the engine should run. Granted not real good, but it will run.

I wondered about that as a possibility. I have a control unit & resistor. EI distributor will be in at a parts store near the hotel in the am. I have a diagram and can wire it temporarily- NAPA and Orielly want a mint for the pigttail. Dang its hot here!
