Need Help Harmonic Balancer
I just bought a 67 Barracuda Notch that came with a fresh blue print 71 318, not running and engine out of car. The car has its original 67 radiator which i would like to use, so I am aware i need to use 67 timing cover and 67 water pump. But the engine i got never came with a harmonic balancer and most standard and priced under $300 balancers say "use with 71 timing cover, driver side pointer". My pointer will be a passenger pointer otherwise the lower radiator hose will block the driver pointer. I would like to get a correct balancer that wont run me an arm and leg. Does anyone have any idea which balancer would correctly work for my set up? Thanks, welcoming all thoughts and solutions.
