Sounds like it has a slipping front clutch. How does reverse hold? What is the history of this trans?
Is your kickdown/throttle valve linkage hooked up and adjusted correctly?
Also as for kickdown linkage it has a lokar one and I think it's adjusted correctly I followed instructions but even out of adjustment would that cause a violent shake? Sorry for all questions
