I’ve got some 15x8 rims with 4.5 inch bs, what’s the largest tire I can get in my stock wheel wells on a 69 Dart?

Assuming you have a stock A body width 8.75 rear, 235s are a safe bet on a Dart- 245s can fit, but they're tight. May require rolling the lip, maybe not- there's a lot of variance between individual cars, even of the same year and model. Barracudas and Dusters are a little more generous.

Following. I have 69 Dart GT vert with 14x7" and 235/60x14 all the way around (stock with 8.75). Eventually going to go to 15x8" when I get rid of drum brakes.
Have been researching options on back due to structure of rear wheel-well. Seems like most people have said 245/60 x15 will fit- but I want to keep chrome trim around wheel-well... do not want to cut or roll it.

Yeah, there's about a 5/16 increase in rear end width if you change to 4.5" bolt circle axles and brakes, too- I'll stick with the 235s being safe, 245s being tight, 255s dicey at best in a Dart, probably needing lip work and a hair more backspace. But then I'm kinda conservative about things like that. Ultimately it depends on the ACTUAL width of the OPs rear end, seeing as how he's already locked into the 4.5" backspace wheel.
