BEWARE OF ESPO SPRINGS

They make mistakes . I had the same thing happen to me. Ordered stock height for a 65 valiant and the car ended up sitting 2 inches high . I called Laura and she blamed it on my shocks and refused to do anything about it. I bought another set elseware and ended up selling the first set to a friend who installed them on his 71 dart which then sat 2 inches high which is what he wanted.

You are 2 or 3 inches up from the rim t jackedo the quarter lip. That's a inch more than mine and mine is up a ways.

These cars sat lower than your when new. Most aftermarket springs raise the car more than stock.

I think your springs raise the car about two inches from stock.

I worked for Mopar dealers from '68 to '72....did a/c and front end work.

No need to Laura has absolutely assured me I have the the springs I ordered , trust me we have been through this whole thing with the details, laura and I have exchanged more then a dozen e mails with pics and measurements
it might not convince Laura, but it may convince us

to be honest, this doesn't make you look good.
I'm giving you a chance to prove your case and you don't take it
what would you think that meant?

Interesting and sounds familiar

Seems to be a "lot o smoke" in this post:BangHead:

I think the part you missed is the car is sitting to low already
The part YOU missed is you don't seem to know what stock height IS and you are already above that!!!! "I'd bet" the new springs match EXACTLY what is claimed of them

By the way I'm a cheap son of a *****. When I first got my 67 together, I took the stock old worn 67 spring pack all apart, along with a pack out of a junker Demon/ Duster and make one pack using the longest leafs from both packs. I don't remember I think it has 1 or 2 more leafs that stock. It's nice and stiff and raised it perfect.

Have you tried the suggestion @RustyRatRod made in post #19?

After that, post up some pictures of the entire side (both) of the car from a decent distance. That's really the only way anyone on here will be able to come to a conclusion.

I bought from ESPO for my C body wagon, big honkin' station wagon springs. I was very happy. Great tow vehicle. I got an extra 1.5" for towing.

That's what was done to mine. A leaf was added. Looks like it came from a pick up. Twice as thick. I am not nuts about the ride but one of these years I will contact ESPO and buy some springs. 1 or 2" over would be fine and they will ride smoother than what I have.

take old and new springs, side by side, laying upside down. are they the same arch? are all the measurements the same? if you add a couple hundred pounds to each do they flatten the same amount?

I've owned many Mopar's over the years, A, B, C and E bodies.
The E body is the only one that had a rake from the factory. The rest were pretty much level.

I hate to tell you but your car is at least 2" higher than stock. You don't know what you are talking about. Laura is right.

Do you have your engine & tranny in the car??? 3 pages of talking about stance and no no full side shot of the car... throw us a bone.
I had a great experience with Laura and Espo.

There is no way you are going to convince this site, or anyone in the Mopar community to "Be Aware" of ESPO. Just ain't going to happen. Their record stands by itself.

PS. Your cars stance looks like +2.

The picture clearly shows the OP's car sits fairly higher than stock.
To get rake back in the day I ran 15's in back and 14's on front.
Had H60X 15 on the back of the 67 Fastback. lol They said it couldn't be done. lol It had rake and hook. lol

That's how we figured it out. While everybody else was sayin we couldn't do it, we just did it. lol

and we didn't have the internet either. lol
I swear you and I ran with same crowd. lol the 70's and early 80's was good times !

It so much easier to locate parts now days. There was a time when you would ask for a picture, and if the seller had a Polaroid camera or shoot a 35 mm roll and get it developed and would mail them to you which wasn’t done often. Now days it’s take a pic with your phone and text it to you. I use to scour the Hemings News looking for parts with each issue. I once drove from Fl to Va to look at and buy a 4 speed shifter for a 70 340 Duster I was building. Now days it’s much easier.

They sure were! Don't forget AbodyBomber, too, (RIP). He was right there doin the same things with us!

I tell people all the time we didn't have the internet to find parts easy and they cannot believe it. We had things like bulletin boards at banks, Penny Pinchers, newspaper want ads, ads in the back of magazines and word of mouth. That was "about it".

So maybe this would help. Is there a reason you want the back of the car jacked way up? You seem really particular about the front end being set to factory settings, but you seem to want the back jacked up 4-5 inches. There's a reason ESPO doesn't do +4 or 5 springs because it really messes with the handling to the point that they don't want to be liable for the resulting wreck. The reason I'm trying to help figure out this is because I've been using ESPO springs for 20 years and have +2 6 leaf springs on all 3 of my 1970 Darts and they all look just like the photo you posted of your Dart, 2 inches over stock.
