Window track location

On my 68 hardtop dart is this how this track goes in for rear window?

I think your going to have a hard time getting the vice in the cavity.:rofl:

The factory service manual has done images that will help
 
Yes, that is the top. Roller goes in slot.
I would love to meet the engineer who designed this set up. I would tie one arm behind his back,tape one eye shut makehimndmake him lay on on tacks and put mine together in 30 minutes

Well got things together but window is not rolling up completely. The back of the window is hitting the roof but the front is not reaching. I don't the gasket in. Where is the adjustment point

The adjustment points are the attachment studs where then mechanism bolts to the body. Loosen the bolts and lift the window and retighten the bolts.You might have to do it more than once.
 
My car was a basket case when I got it. I put in 67 regulators thinking they were for a 68. They look the same but aren't.2 days to figure it out
 
The regulators are the same for 68 to 72. The factory manual has a good diagram and instructions for installation.
You can download the manual from the internet.
I hate the self correct feature.
