Paint removal

Aircraft Stipper, automotive paint stripper, if you can still get it. Think they have a little tamer version of it now but still works. Give her a good soap and water scrub and good water rinse when done.

Used to strip the aluminum bodies of the Peterbilts and Kenworthy did not hurt then one bit. But plastic light lenses, it will destroy those along with other plastic parts. Wear thick rubber gloves and saftey glasses for sure, long sleeve shirt too, pants not shorts.

Stuff gets on your skin it burns, so keep some water handy to flush it off. I even wear charcoal respirator when doing the bigger strip jobs.

Soda blast and a good pressure washing when done is another good way to do it.

And of course no sand blasting, one spec of sand gets stuck inside the manifold and then gets sucked into the engine, will take out a nice engine.

If it has Rattle Can Paint on it, soaking it in lacquer thinner will probably lift that paint right off of there.
