or even look like this if it did happen but I like it. I’ve raced and had a Daytona, TC3, 1969 Dart, 2 Neons, three caravans, Dodge Van, 7-8 Dusters, but I’ve always like Dodge Demons but never owned one. Thinking if this car ever came to be, and looked like this, and had a powerful Hemi engine, I would buy one.

chances are they will do what they did with the charger, the magnum, the dart, the demon and the aspen, and make a car that has zero resemblance to its namesake

The image isn’t altered enough to resemble a modern cars rendition. The cars name plate will never come back again. They had the chance and didn’t move on it. They could have! But they didn’t.

It would never make money. It would have to be a special addition name plate car to an existing line. Since that line was an economy grocery getter with a optional V8 upgrade (318) which was fairly popular. There are literally thousands of the /6 versions still out there rotting away.

To have another factory asphalt melting car in there line up would only dilute sales of the popular Charger, there current flagship car.

It would be really nice if Dodge had a good looking economy car that could handle a new HEMI mill. Something not cheaply made but inexpensive on the wallet instead of hitting us over the head with two mallets at once price wise so that they had an actual affordable factory hot rod that could and would be able to compete in racing.

(OH! And a real Charger with 2 doors!)

you mean the basic roadrunner platform?
no options except for the engine

we've been asking for that for 30 years

Yes, exactly. And I know. But that would be great if it ever did came back. But it won’t, sadly.

Oh! And not A Homelogated (sp?) car either!

thought they were going to use that name for the next mini van...
