Gettin ready to put new filler on fuel cell wondered if I needed to run a vent hose

Puttin a new filler neck on fuel cell so I can fill tank from orig place instead of in trunk it has an anti rollover, if cap is vented shouldn't need a vent tube

Those caps may NOT be vented. They may be 70/ later so called "pressure vacuum" caps that fit the cars with evap controls. I HATE vented caps, unless you like fuel all over the paint.
