What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?
Replacing my heavy *** cast iron master cylinder with an aluminum one. Don't know why I didn't do it sooner. I weighed both cylinders and was amazed at the difference. I also purchased an adjustable pedal rod as my manual brake pedal was too high. Had to trim both the male & female ends about 1/2" each because the rod threaded all the way in was the same 6" as the stock one. Now it's 5 3/8" long all the way in. Gotta find a 9/16-20 fitting to bleed the master cylinder. The scale is off. It reads about 4-4.5lbs. empty. The last pic is the scale empty.
