Hi all. I have my 8 3/4 ready to bolt in. New everything including brake shoes and hardware.
Just found out, no drums available for my setup.
Shoes are the 10x1.75. Axles are sbp.
Anyone have a good set of original drums to fit my application?
Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the reply. The centric drums info link gives no dimensions. Someone else on this sight has told me they are bbp, which I could buy and have drilled but,
I am not sure about the quality of the material. Would like to find original if at all possible.

I don't think that Rockauto has any rear 10" x 1.75" SBP rear drums listed.
The listed CENTRIC 12363004 I believe is a 9" drum...
Correct me, if I'm wrong.

694spd Yes I believe you are correct. 12363004 is 9". They list 12363044 as 10" but not sure on bolt pattern.
Going to wait and see what grampscamp has. In Canada even.

I just got some from rock auto, they looked right to me. Guess I better double check them. Not the bell shape like original.
Here is the ones I bought. Comes up as rear 10" brakes. Searched 71 dart 340.
CENTRIC 12363044 Drum | RockAuto

I will go and check against some originals and report back.

I bought a Centric set years ago in 10". They were SBP. Only thing I modified was where the hole for the axle register is on the outside of the drum, it has a slight rise in the casting. I ground it flat so there was no issue mounting the wheels. Not sure if this has since been corrected in the design.

Some big auto parts stores may be able to get them to you as well like AugoZone, ...

Nothing to correct, they are supposed to have that raised lip on the register. The original drum has it too.

I verified it on some originals before posting to be sure. As far as I can remember, most drums have that raised lip.

I just bought a set off Rock Auto less than a month ago. They are not the bell or darth Vader style. If I were home I could look on the invoice for the part number.

Thanks all. Going to see what grampscamp has, if that doesn't work out I will order from rock-auto.
I checked the 12363044 at the Summit sight and they are sbp.
Thanks again

Yes, the 12363044 are the correct drums. Only difference is they are not the bell style, which is no longer available.

What the Centric look like.......

FWIW, My old drums were not "bell" style. Maybe replaced in the mid 70's, don't know for sure. Comparison pictures before re-drilling Centric......
