70 Dart AC Bezel wanted

so here's the deal. The bezel is held to the metal dash by 2 screws through the face of the bezel and the nuts that go over the shafts of the radio, AND two metal studs that are in the back of the plastic bezel pointing toward the front of the car. If you know they are there the nuts on the back are a bastard to get to. If you don't know they are there you take the two screws and the two nuts off and then you pry at the bezel until the studs break off including the plastic posts they screw into. We will never know what prompted Ma Mopar to design this in this manner. One thing is certain - they put those $%%!@##!!! nuts on before the dash frame was installed in the car. There is a solution which I have used on both of my restored 70 darts with AC - screw the controls to the metal dash frame using the holes that the studs go through. The controls are now solidly mounted in place. Put the Bezel in place with the two screws and the two radio nuts. If you need the bezel off it's done in 5 minutes. If you need to take the controls out you can now get to the screws that hold it to the metal dash without any blood letting or cursing involved.

As you might have guessed the two plastic hollow posts on the piece that I have are broken off. I'll send pics and price to you by PM tomorrow.
