Hah! Turn signals are actually a bit of a bugger, kind of like a three pole switch! You have the actual device, but you need to tie it to the steering column switch, and the light switch in addition to the circuit box. I use a jumper terminal to make it easier on my non electrical self. My ribs and back are killing me this morning from flopping around on the floorboard like a fish.
