We lost Morris today. He was 16. Good run for a cat, but wish he had more.

16 years is a good run but they never leave your heart. If you get to missin him too much I can share a bit of Zeus with ya. He's got a little to spare.

Sorry for the loss Mr. Rusty. He has gone on to the next step and hopefully another will take his place on the porch as both move along the big journey.

Sad to hear that Rob, like the others, I somehow feel like I got to know him.

RIP Morris.

Yeah. He was just like in that picture you made the collage from. Just always loungin around. I think he purred 24/7/365. Just a good old cat.

RRR, sorry about Morris. I know how you feel, the wife & I lost all three of our babies over the last few years. We both miss them, but with the Corona crap going on we have been thinking about a new pet right now.

I know you have a real soft spot for animals, especially cats. Sorry to read your post

Sorry for your loss Rusty. We lost our cat in January after a 17 year run, she was a great mouser and have since replaced her with a very similar size and build spayed female. Only difference is color went from pure black to all gray and she also is a mouser. Likes to catch them, then bring them in the house to show me what a good job she is doing, wife hates it when she brings them in, most of the time their still alive of course lol

Very sorry for y'alls loss Rob. Morris was a purty kitty! I had one for 16 years also, that looked just like him...named Skeeter. It hurts to lose a good pet, for sure. There's a club over by The Rainbow Bridge called "The Orange Tabby"....and I'd say ol Skeeter bought Morris a frosty Catnip when he rolled in! R.I.P. Morris. :(

That's a really nice thought. Thanks. I buried him under the yard swing he loved to sleep in so much. He even slept in it in the pouring down rain, because I put a metal top on it years ago. It was his favorite place.

I've come to believe that cats have a unique perception of humans. They seem to flock to me because they know I am allergic to them. Sorry for your loss RRR.

That's 2 this year isn't it.

That sucks.

Our oldest three are 11 this year and they are each starting to show a little age.

Unfortunately we're set up for rapid succession as they are all within a year or 2 of each other.

Our youngest is only 2.5 however.

Of course nature doesn't always work first in, first out.
