I love it driving. It’s a little heavier feel but it’s very responsive. The only time I don’t love it is below about 15 mph, and even then I’ve gotten used to it. If you put a little more thought into planning how you park it’s not really a big deal.
The PST box is the same externally as an OE box. The Flaming River box is actually slightly larger in some of its external dimensions, so I don’t think either one would give you any more clearance unless you’re comparing it to a power steering box.
