Another straggler followed me home!
Well, I stuffed an A-body 7 1/4 diff under the truck so I could roll it outside for a bath. The VIN tag is long gone on this truck. I knew it was a 39-47 and the owner figured it was a Fargo. I have looked top to bottom for any indication of the year. I just was washing it off and had a look at the clutch and brake pedals. Thank you Ma Mopar for your date stamps! The pedal is stamped 12-13-38. That should imply it is a 39 model year. I know they could have had them on the shelf for years but that is good enough for me. Now I just have to decide if I want a Fargo or a Plymouth front end! They are the same and differ from the Dodge clip. Oh ya, it was maroon in color. I have a purple 39!
