The date on the fender tags and broadcast sheets is the SPD / Scheduled Production Date.

Many online decoders call it the 'build date' but the SPD was assigned when the order for the car was first entered into the system as a 'target' or 'hopeful' date.

Quite a few cars with early in the month SPDs have mylar door stickers showing they were complete in the earlier month, so it would be cool to know which month yours shows just for fun.

This also happens with cars with later in the month SPD dates that were completed in the following month.

Many factors could affect actual build production and real world 'build dates' were not recorded until later on.

Cool to see a Duster with 3 on the tree too! :)
That’s interesting, I’ll have to check my original smashed door that’s buried in storage. I think it still has the stickers on it, but the car was repainted in the 80s so there’s a chance they’re gone. The car was a rolling shell when I got it so it has a 440 and Tremec Magnum now. It was really confusing when I first started working on it, because it had a column shifter, 3 pedals, and a 4 speed hump in the floor haha
