Meh, it’s 5% ethanol. Will be good for months in a cool place even without pasteurization. Not much can live or grow in that...and certainly not quickly.

They only pasteurize it so they can claim that they did and get a 10+ year shelf life. The Banquet beer I just bought has a shelf date of Sep 2028.

It won’t be around anywhere near that long!

I'm pretty sure I was served a "green" (no pastuerization) Coors once after a night of skiing. Not a pleasant experience :lol:.
