La 360 mods dyno results video

I like this guy and his videos. Very glad there was a old LA MoPar engine done. There needs to be more.
(And with Ba Ba Ba Booooooooost!)

No BS video. This is exactly what I was expecting when I recently purchased a supposed good 360 with about the only difference being more compression and needing roller rockers.... This is a great video...

how did he pick up HP with roller rockers? Suprised me there, didnt think the stamped flexed that bad....

The known, less than 1.5 OE ratio vs the closer if not dead on (?) aftermarket rocker will add power.

IMO he made dam good power for the compression ratio he had to work with.
I never did he him talk about Compression.
I wonder what it was after he bolted the new heads on?

For the meat and potatoes. Fast forwards to 8:20.

He went up from stock 1.7 to 1.78...both were cast AL rollers (stock and aftermarket). What would heavier springs alone be worth with that cam? I do see the top end gains on a bigger ratio in that graph.

stock has rollers- OK
Mike Jones told Krooser and me that going from 1.5 to 1.6 would help on the top end
we cannot add duration due to torque curve requirements and 7200 rev limit for durability
so, as with you I though would help all along the curve and I think that is what I have experienced
but here is some data supporting Jones

Richard Holdener is great. Super smart guy and does some really nice real world testing. His YouTube chanel has a lot of content and he works out of Westech. He does a lot of testing on boosted stuff which I enjoy.

I am actually duplicating one of his dyno engines for my boat right now.

The heavier springs were valve control.
