So you guys were right , after 5 years

Spool mounts are great, this is in regards to ,or focused on , the A 61-72 biscuit style.

For those hooking a torque strap or chain..
I would warn that chain placement is important. That's a decent amount of torque and you want the chain attached to the block or head or bracket...preferably.
The water pump, though multiply the clamping force by four 5/16 bolts and four 3/8, is not the best place to hook to..I'm not an expert and have no experience with trying to hook it there, just lookin out. Yes it holds the pump...but that's about 5-8 lbs tension on the belt and no shock load and no matter iron water pump or aluminum...its sitting on an aluminum front cover.
just my thoughts on it.
block i can see , what about alu heads would that be safe ?
