I was announcing in the crowd at Capital Super Speedway in Oregon, WI during the intremission during our ASA show in 1984.
Someone told me Don White was in the crowd and pointed to a certain area. I found Mr. White and asked him if I could do a short interview on the PA system. he told me noone there would remember him. When I announced his name the whole crowd gave him a standing ovation!
He was humbled by the whole deal... a very nice guy.
