Stop in for a cup of coffee

At tea last night, buddy was asking about my plans for today, and mentioned the deck my wife has been mentioning. Says lets build it. So, its on! Wife is away, hope we succeed in getting it done before she returns.
 
Guess lots of canadians will be celebrating canada day today too. wherever you are, enjoy the festivities!
 
Out on the deck enjoying a cooler morning...only 70 degrees.

Been a weird animal summer here and Bear also Oh my!!!! The other day we were fishing and three deer were in the back yard in the middle of the day, that's weird!
 
We have our Bobcat also...called Bob. Occasionally we'll see him under the trees out back in the shade. I'll stand on the deck and talk to him. He just sits there and looks at me. If I come to far off the deck he's gone into the woods.
 
We have a good amount of stuff, easy to get now that it is leagle here now. Lots of buy one get one deals then I got 20% off for military! Nice

Still cant get firecrackers here. Can buy cartons of fireworks, but not firecrackers.
Had a buddy that would bring me a few packs when he travelled south.
The most fun i had as a kid. Used to light them with a magnifying glass. Ahh, the good ol days...
 
I have a few packs of ones that the fuse is waterproof, pretty fun throwing them in the pond and watching the sunfish go after them then BOOF!
 
Good morning all and Happy 4th of July. Going to work on the house a bit, celebrate my Dad's 70th birthday (yes its today), work on some cars and go to the swimming pool.

Did you see some female Representative is trying to reverse that law. Whats wrong with people. I know people get stupid and hurt themselves so we all pay
 
Not yet. Usually pretty good show around here each year, everyone gets into it.

Fun fact on Panko (Japanese Bread Crumb) it is actually made with electricity, the dough is placed between two electrically charged titanium plates and the dough then acts as continuity. Then It hits proof box then staling room then ground and dried to particular granulation spec. The dough when dropped in between the plates looks like a cinnamon twist doughnut, as it grows it fills the void between the plates and turns into a block!

Morning all. Flight landed a couple hours ago. Back home. I thought C130s were big but damn, that C17 was a monster!!!

I get 5 days off on leave/pass then back at it for 3 weeks.

I got the lawn tractor back together and it runs fine... :steering:

I parked it in my back yard and will finish the last part of the neighbor's lawn tomorrow... It should take 20 minutes to finish... :D
