Making a tater salad but more of a casserole. I'll serve it cold though. Mashed taters with sour-cream. Mixed in local made polish sausage garlic and oinions. Raw fried some tater chunks that get mixed in. Baking it now. Top it with some fresh chives.
Sounds good BP.

Spaghetti with white Alfredo sauce. Prefer that to the tomato sauce.
Went outside for 30 minutes and we both sat under the gazebo, I had Crown and Coke and Diane had wine. Not a lot of breeze but what was was hot so back into the cool. Geez we need some rain badly.

Still can't find a solution to the Shroud issue. My rad is from a 69 A-body and should take CS0220 part number. Bought one and didn't fit. Got in touch with Brewer's Performance in Ohio and I gave him the numbers off the rad. He was the one that confirmed it was a 69 rad for an A-body 318/340. He also agreed that part number was correct for my car. But there was no way it was going to fit. The right side looked ok but there was no way the left side was going to drop down enough because the shroud was sitting on the rad hose and still needed to go down at least an inch. Ready to pull my hair out what's left of it. The guage set I put in, the Temp guage isn't working right either. The manufacturer (AutoMeter) wants me to send it to them in the U.S. and they will check it out. No warranty of course because I bought them in 2018 and didn't put them in till last week. May just pull them out and junk them. What else can go wrong? Maybe I shouldn't ask LOL

Hot this afternoon, just sittin' on the porch with the hound dogs takin' it easy. Stoli's and lemonade today, bag of Doritos for dinner (JK- beef roast, taters and sweet corn roasting on the grill as we speak).

In the demolition derby cars we use a product called Water Wetter that helps keep the cars cooler longer. Perhaps that would help you.

Thanks CF. I've heard of it and seen commercials for it too. Apparently all the anti-freeze has to be removed from the block and rad

There are different brands and some even claim fabric softener helps. I believe there is some that can be used with coolant.
There are 3 pretty good ones out there Hyper-Kuhl is good , Royal Purples Purple ice is good and Lucas super coolant is good, mixes with anti-freeze. They say if you add water not to use distilled water use filtered water. Just suggestions Mark from some research I did . I use Hyper-Kuhl .

well, rumor has it there will still be a large fireworks display...BUT it will only be "open" to those who live in the gated community

if my intel is correct, it will be set off from the south pier by dusk and the marine forecast calls for 1 foot waves on the big lake

so, i got the cooler loaded up, gave the boat a good once over (found a bees nest in the cuddy, gave my boy 10 bucks to remove it, best money ever spend)

in about half an hour or so ill head out and see how good my intel is

i should be able to enjoy it from the small lake, close to the channel

I'll Google that CF. I know STP used to have a product you added. Think it was called Keep Cool if memory serves me right.

My BB Cuda always run hot, so I run liquid dishwasher soap in the rad for a few cycles, flushed it a few times also, then run the hose in the top and had the bottom hose off for 20 minutes or so,
rigged up a shroud and used water wetter, never goes above 180 now.

BOOM!

Thanks 340. I saw that dishsoap trick when working at Rentway Trucks. They used powdered soap but probably doesn't matter. Fog suggested Lucas so will sure try that, they make great products.

Morning guys. Hope you didn't drink too much yesterday and wake up with a sore head, nauseated and well you know the rest. If you have a sore throat a good remedy is a nice piece of juicy warm pork fat. Tie it to a string and swallow partially and then pull it back up repeating several times. It helps to lubricate the throat making you feel much better.

All that with a mask on.:D

Nice that’s how you social distance!!

defiantly was a little more "distance" involved then i originally intended
it was a little crowded in the channel so i decided to just head out onto the big lake (lake michigan)

it was pretty cool, if there was one boat out there, there were a hundred
after the fireworks we all had to get through the same channel, which is about 170 feet across

i was kinda expecting it to be like a nascar race, trying to get to that first turn but it actually went off without a hitch

Morning Guys you been busy on here. Had a great 4th with the grant kids we did 3 legged races, Apple bobbing and a pile of other games.

Thanks but the pulling it back up would empty my stomach.
