How old is Grandma

I am 72 and was born in 1948 my parents were in their 40's when I came along. I was raised by parents that were young adults during the real Great Depression. Dad walked to school, mom rode a mule there. My wife is 65 next month, she was raised by grandparents that went thru the Great Depression. Point is I realize neither of us think like people our age, we think like people 25 years older!!!! I had twin cousins 4 years older than me Their family got their first TV AFTER they graduated college. Their dad had a heart attack and died when they were 18 and had a little life insurance.
We have freezer full of food, rarely eat fast food, almost never eat out, a cubboard full of caned goods she has a dish washer, I have never had one ever, I was the dishwasher, my parents got uppidy and bought a window air condition that cooled the den in 1964, my mom bought me a set of new clothes every Sept to start school, she paid it off over the course of the year, a little every month then she found me a after school job when I turned 16 at the local A & P Supermarket 13 hours every Sat and every afternoon after school except Tue. She still bought my clothes!!!!!
I remember mom telling me NOT to have a heat stroke bucking bales, funerals costs a lot.
