Late model timing cover interchangeability
I grabbed a slant timing cover off of a 1990s D150 with slant six. When I got it home I noticed that the timing pointer is about 120 degrees off the original timing pointer location on my 1964 timing cover. Red arrow is approx location of original timing pointer.
It looks like it will bolt up just fine.
Question is: Will I have to transcribe a new TDC mark on the damper and, is there anything else I have to do to make it work?
I'm trying to refinish it before i do further work, so I can just bolt it up.
