Depends on the level of performance. The advantages are you can go 10 years and never pull a valve cover and never hear the ticking of an adjustable rocker. All new performance engines are running hydraulic lifters - - up to and over 800 hp.
well you're comparing apples to oranges these aren't new modern engines with 800 horsepower LOL.. thought that I would go 10 years without an adjustment but I could probably go two or three even with my car as much as they get driven..
Seeing as how this is probably not for your Dodge truck I mean your newer Magnum one and likely not for your Magnum van I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is either for the racetrack or one of the Dusters? All three of which should have at least a set of $150 273 rockers and a good solid lift cam....
