Not a lunati cam but I run their microtrol lifters. Sample size of 16, but so far so good. I was impressed by them right out of the package.
I work in manufacturing and there are certain details that stand out. The comp lifters in my build before last felt and looked cheap. The lunati looked and felt good.
I didn't pump them up before setting preload, then primed the daylights out of the engine before firing it off. I just finished a manifold swap and checked on them while I was in there. They look new and the plungers were all rock solid. No collapsing (my melling, comp, and Howard lifters all lost the "check" function of the check valve shortly after install and would compress stupid easy after maybe 2hrs of run time).
I picked up my lunati lifters around November last year, for what that's worth.
