Are you suggesting that Lunati cams are different? To my understanding Lunati hydraulic cams have no special requirements for lifters, you could run any brand of hydraulic flat tappet. Problem being is that most are junk. I have had problems with Comp Cam lifters no pumping up. I know that some members have old Mopar OEM lifters reground and use them with confidence.

Not suggesting the cam is different, but normally I buy the cam kit. In this case, too many complaining about their lifters in the kits collapsing. Seems QA Control has tanked. For years I ran MP cams, never a lifter failure. And to be honest, the recent cam kits I've used have worked without issues as well.
