I actually disagree. An inaccurate review is worse than not having one. An inaccurate positive review might lead to to buy something that won’t work or work well. And an inaccurate negative review might lead you to avoid a perfectly decent product.
The shorter the review format, the less helpful the review is and the more likely it is to be inaccurate. And, if the format is short like a star system, it’s hard to evaluate the accuracy of the review. Bad information is worse than none at all.
Like I said, I think it would be nice to have if properly moderated, which will be time consuming. Otherwise it’ll be no better than the open forum.
