I am sick of dealing with headers, i am no longer concerned about losing some HP. Which Big block exhaust manifolds will fit in a 71 duster with a B motor? Are they hard to come by?

You can run B-body HP manifolds, but might have to ditch the column auto if you have one.

Don't blame you. IMO nobody has ever produced a header that makes sense for a B/RB setup in an A-Body. Can it be done I do not know with T-bars and a Bulky K-member I am not a wizard of pipes to decide or design it for that matter.....

Seems to me the regular "Log" manifolds work for A Body big blocks.

Was at a car show and saw a set of logs on a barn find GTS.

Have to check them out.

This '67 383 big block with the logs, is what I was saving for the '67 Dart.

Yeah, I don't care for headers either, but to each their own.

Got weened off of them when I was 16 years old helping my cousin swap engines on his '65 GTO, multiple times.

Need to get the starter out, need to take the header off to get access to it.

His header setup made enough power until the engine through a rod when he was out running the cops at 100 + mph. Needless to say when they finally caught up to him sitting there with a dead engine, they handcuffed him and hauled him away. Arrested !!!

Good Times . . .

I know they aren’t currently available but I have zero complaints about my Schumacher headers. Plugs are easy to change, plenty of room for a mini starter, no leaks.

There are B-engine A-body manifolds (for stock 383 Darts) but they are super expensive when they can be found, and that kink to clear the steering column can't be good for flow either. An even rarer unicorn is the RB A-body manifold, with a price to match.

You can search out this post here on FABO about C Body Big Block Log style exhaust manifolds in an A Body.

There are a few modifications to make them work, but they do work as explained in the articles and replies to the post below.

Relatively inexpensive too compared to the A Body HP manifolds. Have seen them on craigslist for under 100.00 for the pair.

I know that 62-65 B bodies had long log type manifolds. They hug the block and clear the steering on my 400 Dakota. I would assume they would clear the same on an A-Body. Drivers dumps below 7. The below image is not mine

Passenger side rear dump logs won't work in an A-body. Dump is too far back. Like I said B-body HP manifolds work well. Might have to shorten the outer sleeve on the steeering column to fit. 383 pictured.

Agree. Someone needs to start producing that tri-y style again.......I think the market is there.

I think any BB HP manifolds from 67-73 should fit fine. You need to trim the column back and cut and access hole for #6 plug

The '67 440 B-body manifold will only work with a "B" block in an a-body due to the different clocking of the outlet flange. I will soon have a '73 driver side manifold paired with an early passenger side for sale. Need to clean up the rust on the early driver side manifold that I am going to use first (maybe next week).
