The console auto shifter in my 69 Dart 440/727 is pretty sloppy. I just want to rebuild it to get it like new again. What's a good rebuild kit to use and from who?

I haven't heard of a rebuild kit for the linkage on the shifter but i did a Google search of mopar console shifter kits and came up with Mega Parts as a supplier for some of them and other sites.
Maybe someone else has better info. Good luck.

This is the one I found from restorationpartssource.com. $136.95. Just wondering if anyone has used this or if there is another better one out there.
Looks like all u really need is the plastic bushings unless u have a worn shaft. Kim
The shifter also has a couple small bushings in the bottom of it that should keep it from rocking left and right. I need one or a pair of those. I needed a new bushing for under the car too but a piece of rubber hose shoved onto the shaft served the purpose there. Good luck with yours.

Yeah the rods are worn as well as the bushings. I'm just going to get the whole kit. Take it apart once and put it completely back together once.
