The aluminum is garbage aluminum. No one has come forth saying they could weld it up. The head suffered porosity issues and got the bad rap that never left them.

The crap aluminum and spring seats are the heads draw backs. If the seat wasn’t where it is and the aluminum casting and the metal itself was good,,, this would be a super head. Who ever did the casting for Chrysler & MP stuck it in there *** twice.
