Got an 02 CRV, brake lines from ABS to junction block on drivers side under air box corroded and leaking. How would you do it? I'm open to suggestions.
I build new lines. You can buy ready made lines in various lengths,and bend to fit.
In your case i would cut line off close to the fitting,use a socket to remove line and go to local parts store and get a line close to the length you need. Bend and re-install. Bleed brakes.
But, most manufacturers bastardize the end at the abs unit or master cylinder. Asian vehicles dont use inverted flare, it requires a different flaring tool.
way cheaper to take it to a shop. Just not a dealer.
I reuse the odd size nuts and flare with my hydraulic flaring tool. Expensive.
