I didn't realize I had some overspray on a chrome bumper in my garage. What is the best way to remove the overspray?

Thanks

Like Murray said; lacquer thinner or acetone. Small area at time and be careful not to get it on any other surfaces

I've used 0000 steel wool with great results but lately I've been hearing people say they tried it and it scratched the chrome. Maybe chrome today isn't as durable as it used to be? Here's another idea that will work and you won't risk scratching anything...

After my Challenger was painted, I restored/painted some parts in the garage. Even though I was painting in the opposite corner, a lot of overspray ended up on the paint. I bought a clay bar at the local parts store and clay bared the entire car. It took the overspray right off and didn't damage the paint. It's amazing all the contaminants it removes. You can really "feel" it removing the grit and leaving a smooth surface behind.
