I have a slant six powered 1974 Duster. The brass coolant temp sensor screwed into the cylinder head has the following markings:

362-CL 250 3-F

There is no Chrysler part number on it, nor any other markings. There was a small amount of orange paint still on it, although my engine was painted blue from the factory. I'm pretty sure this sensor is not the original one that came with the car. Any ideas as to what the markings mean? BTW, it works perfectly. Thanks!

As my dad said.." if it ain't broke don't fix it"

Most likely the markings are a part number or date code form an aftermarket manufacturer
