Hey guys, I need your help with a what's it worth thread. My FABO friend Dan (Teeth and Tires) sadly is no longer with us. His wife has asked me to help sell his 1969 318 Barracuda. I will be getting pics tomorrow and info on what was done to the car. She would like to know what is a fair price as she would like to sell it sooner rather than later due to the obvious expenses and financial strain. I know we have a lot of members that know the barracuda values and market very well. It is the pic in his avatar, but was taken after a snowfall. Thanks in advance, I will post pics and info on the car as I get them together tomorrow. His wife is very grateful. Fratz.

Personally, I think those are a little high.

I saw a nice 68 FB 318 car with a built 340 and a super nice body and paint NOT sell at Don Garlits for asking price of 22K.

Turns out it was local to me and it sat on craigslist for a couple months at that asking price.

I am going into Philly to do a small power wash job and should be done by noon or soon after. Dan's wife will be getting me pics after lunch (Mountain time) so I should have them posted early this afternoon EST. Thanks all for your help and patience.

Much too young. He was certainly a man of detail when going through his Barracuda. RIP Dan.

Wow! Send our condolences and positive thoughts, this sounds unexpected.
A legendary status is in order I believe.

Thanks for helping the family out. My "feel" is that someone will be getting a cool car. Slickback, plus Dan seemed meticulous, so what got accomplished on the cuda is/was done well.

Sorry to read this...... I was just joking with him in a thread on usernames back in April. Hopefully she gets a fair price for the car; or maybe she'll decide to keep it. Really hard to know value without detailed description and pictures.

After I get the pics inside and out, we should know a fair ballpark price. She also has receipts and documentation...Talk back to you guys in a few hours. Good day to power wash. 89-91 degrees. Should feel good! Talked to Dena late last night. She said she is very grateful to you guys for your input and expertise.

Give her my condolences, too bad we’re not all retired and full of extra money. We could all pool together and build it his way and she can keep it in his memory

My heart is he’s y with the news of Dans passing. Much too young, and a great loss to our community! RIP Dan.
