Ebay radiator

What do you do if something goes wrong, doesn't fit, leaks etc

If you really want the radiator on Ebay, contact the seller for the information you need. If they can't or won't give you the information, I'd pass on it as it's probably a Chinese built piece.

At that price (and with that slightly-off English) it is certainly Chinese.
So, has anyone gambled the $145?

Hell if you got it why not.My champion was about that price when i bought it about 5 years ago.

OK, OK... no, I have not bought one (and may not until I hear from someone as to what they had to do to make it work). OOTB fully functional is not common with these offshore parts, and the more critical the machining, the less I'd trust them. I didn't even consider the double-pumper copy for $199 :realcrazy:

But I'm happy with my Caltrac clones for half the money. They did take some cleanup work chasing the Heim joint threads that banged around in the box, and the female threads that had quite a bit of weld spatter. The welds themselves (and the Heims) actually look pretty good. We'll see the first time it really hooks though!

I have bought the 115 dollar Aluminum ones for the GM motors in my Demolition derby cars with success. These see abuse and hold up. Of course they are not show cars.

Looks good. Who cares about their English skills, if they know how to weld? If the aluminum is thin, that gives better heat transfer. Just be careful with coolant selection since aluminum corrodes much faster than copper if the chemistry is wrong, or even stray electrical currents (need good grounding). I would even try one of the modern type w/ plastic tanks, but most won't fit since new cars have short & wide radiators. I can buy one for $70 for my minivans, so who cares if they only last 15 years. No radiator lasts forever. Hopefully mine will last longer than most since I use Evans Waterless Coolant in all my vehicles, old and new.
