Max tyre size different on ss springs?

Hi, i know there is several posts on tyre size and such, but don't see if stock leaf springs or ss springs make a difference? I have a 69 dodge dart GT with the 8 3/4 rear end with stock leafs, was looking to get the offset hangers and buy new tyres and wheels to fit but do i need ss springs also to get the most tyre possible (275/60-15)? this is for drag slicks, so only gonna use these tyres and wheels at the strip so i dont mind the rubbing in corners.

Thanks anyone.

I run that size Nitto Drag Radial on my '68 Barracuda convertible on an 8 inch rim. I forget the back spacing. The tires don't rub anywhere, are rated to 186mph and hook up very well on the street. They don't hook as well as a dedicated slick on a prepared track though.

I do have 3200lbs SS springs, but they fit the same as a stock spring as far as spring size etc. The car weighs 3700lbs without me in it, so it doesn't sit to high in the back.
