Jetting/tuning e85

I would suggest getting an e85 conversion kit for the carb. I got mine from Rob mix years ago (it worked fine for me). It came with metering blocks, gaskets, squirters, and baseline jetting for the carb (I ended up using quite a bit more jet than they suggested). If you contact them (or any other reputable e85 carb company) they can get your the right parts.

My setup needed some tuning, but it was close enough for me to get the rest right. I will say, you need to invest in a wideband O2 sensor to help tune it, because e85 burns so clean it is very difficult to read the plugs.

In addition to the Holley black pump, don't forget to get rid of any paper fuel filters (need to switch to steel mesh style).

Good luck, and enjoy.

Edit: You may also need larger boosters....just FYI.
