I have Dr. diff 73+ front brakes and his rear cobra brakes and with the car in reverse on jack stands, I cannot get the wheels to stop, they do slow, but don't stop.

I've tried vacuum bleeding as well as gravity bleeding and same result. I am wondering if air is trapped with the way my brake lines are orientated. These calipers have a integral parking brake, but I don't have the cables yet

you might need to find a power bleeder / are the rest of the lines stock location

As Syleng mentioned, check the master cylinder? I don't think air is trapped, I think it may be getting introduced thru master cylinder.

Yes, I bled the master first, but I can try again. The hard brake lines have all been replaced with inline tube pre bent ones. The flexible lines are ones that came with the brake kit.

get a friend to pump and hold the brake peddle for you as you bleed them

I believe those rear calipers require the emerg brake lever to be pulled numerous times, like a ratchet, to screw the pads out into contact with the disc.
You may not get pedal till pads contact rotor.

I bench bled the master again (on the car, with tubes going into reservoir and the rear tires slowed with a lot of effort, then started spinning again. Better, but not quite.

I'm gonna see about getting a helper tomorrow. I'll try moving the parking brake lever also.

Rear Brake Caliper Adjustment. To adjust initially, the piston is adjusted outward by turning the nut on the lever or by cranking the lever. This ratchets the caliper piston outward just like using the emergency brake would do. This moves the piston outward taking up that distance between the rotor and the pads.

Update:

I re bled the rears, with a helper pumping.ore air did come out. However, the stopping power of the brakes whole the car was in stands didn't change.

I can't figure out how to adjust the parking brake on these calipers (they are different than the ones in the link) I did actuate the parking brake lever about 2 dozen times, before we started bleeding, though.

I decided to out the car on the ground and see how the brakes performed at a rolling idle. I set chalks in front of the wheels (in case I had nothing) and the car stopped fine. No granted that could be due to the front brakes.

The car needs an alignment, so I'll probably just have my guy check over the brakes as well.
