My mag lights are older then I can remember, they only had the halogen back then. I have not looked at Maglite in years since using my bike lights as flashlights even though I did look at converting my Mags to LED bulbs. The problem there is you still end up with a monster big light with something like my 4D model. I use lights from a company called Light & Motion for my bike lights. They are an american company that tries to do as much as possible in the states, and have great service. Their lights are not for everybody, but since I already have them, they do good double duty for the few times I actually need a flashlight.
