The big problem with those cars and big blocks is they were never designed for the big block. They never came with them. Whereas the A bodies were basically the same front suspension from early to late. The early cars were just smaller. The early Novas were like Falcons. Their front ends were weak and had trouble holding anything like a big block without some real upgrades.
