I'm new to this site. I'm currently working on a 1972 Duster and installing a 5.7 Hemi from a 2004 Durango. I am building my own wiring harness from the Durango. Needless to say, I have a ton of questions but I will go through the archives before I start asking questions that may have already been answered.
I purchased the Duster new in November 1972 right after I graduated high school. It has been a So Cal car until I moved to Washington 6 months ago so it is rust free and straight. My goal is to have it look like a "what if". What if a 5.7 was available from the factory in 1972.
 
I am stuffing a 6.1 in a 72/Demon. I have a thread on the build here on FABO. Please note I am not a pro builder or anything just a guy doing it in his own shop. Feel free to PM me any time and I will tell you anything I have learned. I made a lot of mistakes. The wiring sucks don’t let anybody lie to ya! Hah.

I'm off Meridian within ear shot of the Paul Bunyan range.
Meridian was turning into a literal gauntlet to get home, so we started using Canyon rd. Finally we just plain decided it was flat to many people and moved. That end of Puyallup was turning into a mess. I can only imagine what is like now. We had a Harley Shop there called BHP cycles. We been gone for years, but what a beautiful place to live.

Meridian hasn't gotten any better but I'm retired so I don't get out there unless I really need to. I'm a retired Tool & Die Maker for TE Connectivity, formerly Deutsch Co. in So Cal. I have a full machine shop at home so fabricating what I need is not a problem. I use a 15 hp rotary phase converter to power a 3 phase sub panel to run the lathes, Bridgeport, surface grinder and cutoff saw. Too bad you moved, I could have helped you with fabrication.

For sure on the help! I still have a full shop as well but more on the welding side of things. I have a mill and a lathe and they are super handy but I am not the best at using them. Something that would take you 20 minutes would likely take me an hour. I go super slow and careful. The auto feed scares the crap out of me. Hah!
 
Welcome, and that looks like a fun project. I'm a sort-of neighbor, two hours south of you.
 
Welcome John glad to have you here pull up a chair beer in the fridge and make yourself at home.
By the way I use to live in Graham also, same time Sublime lived there but didn't know him till I moved to North Dakota.
If you can post some pictures of your car we all would like to see it.
