FCA's new name!

Goody! Another meaningless name dreamed up by MBAs and their algorithms! Yayyyyyy!

(Oh, and hey, cutesy de luxe, they want it written in ALL CAPS. Speaking as Chief Editor of an automotive industry publication, my answer is the same as for all the other self-impressed corporate PR types who want their company's name shouted: "No. You may have one uppercase letter at the start of your company's name in my publication. But don't frown; I do have a two-word phrase I'll be happy to put in all caps for you—it rhymes with 'duck poo'".)

Don’t like the name at all. Makes want to buy Chevrolet.

"Don't mean nothin', not a thing" ever since they went and decided to deep six the Plymouth name. Fiat is just another four lettered word.

No matter what name they use the company sucks has for 45+ years wouldn't buy anything they've made after '72..

I think with this name they're chasing after the mostly-Chinese car brands (like Aiways, Bordrin, Enovate, Everus, Nio, Qoros, Singulato, Byton, etc) that are supposed to sound cutting-edge and don't actually mean anything. I imagine a bunch of dull, grey executives sitting in a dull, grey conference room and going "We need a name that tells the world we are a bunch of 'hep cats' who are 'with it' and 'happening', as the 'teen agers' might say".

Curious, what happened in '72 to '73 that made it the cut off ?

Last good year for the duster because of the one year only taillights although they had those butt ugly generic sidemarkers that mopar stuck on everything 73' and up and don't get me started on those ugly *** "beaknose" cars!!

ok, just a personal preference. I thought maybe your uncle got fired in '73 or something... LOL

Expect the consolidation of auto companies to continue. Happens with most industries as they "mature."

Fiat
**** it all then!

Stellantis? Seriously? What ******* dickwad came up with that asinine moniker!?

Introducing................................... the 2021 Stellantis shitcan......................................................! Whoopee

The name is odd, but reading some of the articles the charger and challenger will finally be getting rid of the LX platform and going to a lighter alpha Romero chassis based, so those cars are about to drop some weight finally.

So when all three car companies merge- what would that look like? FO (Ford)-GM (General motors)-AR (mopAR),= FOGMAR ? I like it about as much as Stellantis.
