Hey guys I know this is the a body site but, a guy by the name of Randy Carlson who is out here in Southern California just made a big score. Picked up five cars in Arizona. A 426 hemi four-speed challenger, charger 500, charger RT, super B, and a Mustang GT500 KR. All cars are being brought from Arizona to California tonight. I believe the plan is to get them running and sell them as is. A buddy of mine is working with him to do this

Well, now you'll need a sharp pen to write the check! LOL :D

I have a couple videos but I can’t figure out how to put a video on here. If you look his name up on Facebook you can see two videos he just posted Randy Carlson

Supposedly the lady’s husband died and this guy is trying to sell the cars for her.

What does Mr Carlson do for a living? Those are high $ cars. He is going to flip them? Sounds another Richard Rawlings. Not a car person.

Again, the lady’s husband died. She’s elderly has no idea what to do with them. He’s a local car guy that yes looks for those hidden gems. I’m sure he’s going to make some profit on them. I mean he put them on a semi truck to bring them back over here. Definitely better than having them sit out in the Arizona sun for the next 15 to 20 years and then have someone find them when they’re completely destroyed and say, I can’t believe someone let these cars just sit here and die. He looked, he found them, we can all be jealous but he still did the work

Even if he does flip them, at least there is a chance they will be put back on the road instead of being hoarded.
That's a good point. I don't know about anyone else but those cars are the exact cars I love the most when going to shows. get them road worthy and drive them.

I got an opportunity to watch the body restoration of a 68 GT500KR years ago, my neighbor was doing one in his garage, the car bought from the original owner, and was eventually painted black, it's original color, like looking in a mirror. Same guy did my 70 Dart right after he finished the Shelby. That Shelby was eventually sold for well into 6 figures, twenty years ago.

Great score, but let's hope the majority of the proceeds go to the widow and she and the family can be comfortable.
since she's completely oblivious to what kind of value they really have , I'm sure she'll end up with pennies on the dollar. everyone involved will have their greedy hands in it

I hope not, let's hope legal docs were drawn up before they were hauled away.
