In today's world shame on her if she didn't find someone to help her come up with a reasonable number. If she is incapable of doing the legwork someone who is responsible for her should have. It's that simple.....

I hope whatever transpired meant an agreed upon amount and then a check was wrote so she could move on. Nothing else makes sense. Everyone who has their hands in it will be in it for the money....
