66 barracuda...going for a different look

-
Interesting, Ive always heard that grafting a fiberglass scoop to a steel hood won't last and result in cracking where the two connect. Do you have any pictures of the installation of the scoop to the hood? It looks awesome for sure.

I had heard the same and I guess time will tell. My guy was pretty confident. Only pics I have are in this thread.

Been a bit since I have made any changes and the barracuda is currently in the shop for its first full repaint in 40 years. I started dismantling it and am pleased to say she is a solid as I believed she was.

Plan is to shave all bumper bolt caps, shave blinkers(new headlights have blinker incorporated into headlight), shave all emblems, antenna, remove wheel well trim. Will be moving bumpers closer to body as well. I’ll be adding kindig it door handles and through body exhaust behind rear wheels.

These are the exhaust tips and what they look like on a roadrunner. Hoping for similar look.

Super nizze ! Good to see its moving along nicely

Has that front bar been modified before? If not it's interesting the difference to the Aussie bar of the same year! I took a mould from a stock bar, modified it and took a mould of that. Long process but that's what it takes to be different to every other car!
