65 Dart Wagon Conversion to a Sedan Delivery

 Dang! Did you drop the vice grips off the top of the house?!?! LOL :poke: :D. I'm sure your buddy can work that dent out pretty easily before installing the patch. We all make goof ups, so you're not alone. I fixed a flat rear tire on our old riding mower the other day. I was so proud of myself for patching the tube, and it actually holding air on the first try! When I put the wheel back on the mower, it wouldn't go? The old mower has had 3 tires in the junk yard and the other one on a banana peel for years anyway....so I went to the Cub Cadet place to look at new mowers. Our 3 can bagger might not fit a new mower was all that kept me from plunking down the money. Yesterday, it was storming here, so I decided to down the old Craftsman mower and see if I could figure out what went wrong with the transaxle. When I jacked it up, I noticed that the wheel I took off to fix spun freely on its axle? When I took the wheel off, the woodruff key was missing. I went back to the basement where I took the tire off to fix, and guess what was laying in the floor? Yep, the dang woodruff key! I forgot to hold it from the backside to keep it from pushing out when I put the wheel back on. :realcrazy: Now that I found that and welded the deck where it was broke, it lives to die another day...and it saved me $2K on a new Cub Cadet!
