I installed my 16:1 PST box in May and then took the car to get an alignment, because I also changed control arms and wheels. The guy at the shop said that the gearbox was too tight out of the box. So he loosened it up to "break it in". Not sure, if that is necessary. Anyways, after I picked up the car I noticed that there was grease coming out of the top of the box:
Is that bad? Also, do you recommend doing the worm bearing pre-load adjustment before tightening the box?
